Midwives.—No midwives are subsidized by the Council
for outside work.
Acts and Bye-laws—There are no local Acts of Parliament.
The Bye-laws of the London County Council are enforced, as
also are various local Bye-laws relating to sanitary matters.
Sanitary Inspection of the Borough.
The work carried out by the Sanitary Inspectors, and
the nature of the nuisances discovered and remedied, is shown
