The staff should consist of:—
(a) A Medical Officer, possessing expert knowledge and
special experience in tuberculosis, who would be
styled "Consultive Tuberculosis Officer and Assistant
Medical Officer of Health." This Officer
would devote the whole of his time to the work,
and for administrative purposes would be under
the direction of the Medical Officer of Health,
who should be the chief executive officer responsible
to the Council.
(b) One health visitor, with nursing experience, to visit
cases.
(c) One trained nurse attendant at the Dispensary.
(d) One clerk-dispenser.
Position of Dispensary.
A central position should be chosen, and one easy of
access for the working-class population of the Borough.
Accommodation.

Provision should be made for the following offices:—
Waiting-room, size about 12 ft. by 16 ft., with two
dressing-rooms attached.
Consulting-room, about 12 ft. by 18 ft.
Lavatory and w.c. accommodation attached to consulting-room
and waiting-room.
Laboratory and dispensary.
The interior of the building should be so constructed
that all the surfaces could be easily and completely washed.
