Schools.
No schools in the district are under the control of the Borough
Council, as the County Council is the Education Authority. Close
touch is kept with the school authorities, however, in so far as
infections disease is concerned.
Housing.
Housing Act, 1930. Part 1.
The London County Council made orders for the following
clearance areas during the year. At those inquiries which have
been held before the Inspector of the Ministry of Health, evidence
was given by the Borough Medical Officer in support of that of the
County Medical Officer.
