4.— Housing Act,1936,Part IV—Overcrowding:—

The "appointed day" not having been fixed by the Minister of Health for the Borough, correct information cannot be given under this item, as in last year's report the statistics specified were from the Preliminary Survey carried out in the years 1935-36, and the information now given follows the same lines, but the figures for overcrowding are reduced by the number of families who have been re-housed elsewhere because of their overcrowded conditions:—
