From the above statement it will be seen how the disease attacked people at
the various ages, viz.:
In every hundred cases 2.65 were aged 1 to 5 years.

„ „ 19.82 were aged 45 to 65 years.

*Referring to the first Table above, it will be seen under "Respiratory Tuberculosis"
that between the ages of 15 and 25, the males attacked number 55, while
the females reached 61.

PUBLIC HEALTH (TUBERCULOSIS) REGULATIONS, 1930.
These Regulations provide that no person suffering from respiratory tuberculosis
who is in an infective condition shall be engaged in any form of dairy work
involving the milking of cows, the treatment of milk, or the handling or
containers.
No case came to the notice of the Medical Officer of Health during the year
which called for action.
ISLINGTON INTERIM TUBERCULOSIS CARE COMMITTEE.
During the year the work of the Committee has increased steadily in scope and
extent. The new cases received numbered 400, the number of visits were 1,424,
letters written 1,012, and interviews held 899. Appended is the Honorary Secretary's
report; the money collected from patients amounted to £520 3s. 3d.
