1927. The rate was 2 per 1,000 births below the mean annual record of the
preceding ten years, and is 5 per 1,000 below the rate of last year (1932).
In the quarters the mortality ranged from 78 per 1,000 births in the first
quarter, 47 in the second, 43 in the third, and 86 in the fourth.
