tuberculosis, 25 were suspects, and 420 were not suffering. The nurses of the
Northern Dispensary paid 815 visits, and those of the Southern 2,177, to the homes
of the patients, while the Tuberculosis Officer of the Northern Dispensary made
172 visits, and of the Southern 149 visits to the patients' homes for the purpose of
examining them.
Pneumothorax Treatment was also administered to thirty-one patients
at a cost of £158 9s. 6d.
Finsen Light Treatment.—One case at a cost of £1 10s. 0d.
Artificial Sunlight Treatment. No case under treatment in the year
under review.
