Chief Tuberculosis Officer.
During the year 1,169 persons were examined by the Tuberculosis Officers,
and the patients made 7,586 attendances.
At the Northern Dispensary there were 601 new cases, and at the Southern
568, while the attendances at the former were 3,041 and at the latter 4,545. The
examination of contacts with tuberculous cases showed that 33 were suffering from
