Public Health (London) Act, 1936. Notices. Twenty-one notices were served during the year under the above Act in respect of nuisances found to exist at food premises in the Borough. As a result of notices the following nuisances in food premises were abated during the year: —

Water closets.
Cleansed3

Urinals, repaired or cleansed1
Dampness.
Gutters repaired1
Other work to prevent dampness1
Sinks.
Waste pipes repaired, sinks renewed16

Milk Legislation.
Food and Drugs (Milk, Dairies and Artificial Cream) Act, 1950.
This Act, which came into force on the 1st January, 1951, makes no changes in the
law, but consolidates certain enactments relating to milk, dairies and artificial cream,
notably Part II of the Food and Drugs Act, 1938, Sections one to four of the Food and
Drugs (Milk and Dairies) Act, 1944, and the whole of the Milk (Special Designations) Act,
1949. The Act is cited with the Food and Drugs Acts, 1938 and 1944, as the Food and
Drugs Acts, 1938 to 1950.
Registrations.
The Milk and Dairies Regulations require every Local Authority to keep a register
c of all persons carrying on the trade of distributor in their district and of all premises
