The Public Health (Preservatives, etc., in Food) Regulations.
In the year 1938 ten samples of food were found on analysis to contain
preservatives contrary to the provisions of the above Regulations, viz., Lager beer,
jam, marmalade, sausages, and sausage roll (sse page 42).
