* These figures, as published in the Registrar-General's Quarterly Returns for 1931, are
for the 52 weeks ended 2nd January, 1932; the complete corrections for the year 1931
increase the number of deaths to 492 and the rate to 14-2 per 1,000. The corresponding
rate for London was 12-4.

the year 1930 and 1931 respectively.
