Shepherds Bush Market
A visit was madeito an establishment at the above following a complaint
concerning a puppy purchased which became ill with gastro-enteritis.
All the animals in the shop were in good condition.
A kitten purchased from the same shop died of gastro-enteritis but
one could not fault the premises of the conditions under which livestock
were kept.
A complaint was received from a resident that a snake, which she
thought came from a pet shop in Shepherds Bush Market, was in her mother's
garden. The matter was investigated and visits were made to the three pet
shops in the vicinity. Only one of the shops kept snakes, but these were
all securely housed and were of a harmless nature.
