of this Unit to whom 1 am indebted for the following analsyis of
the results, points out that "all cases of active tuberculosis occurred
among those not X-rayed within the previous 5 years" and, in
noting that carcinoma of the bronchus surpassed tuberculosis
among those examined, expressed the hope that "as with tuberculosis, satisfactory treatment for the cases diagnosed will be
introduced or that a progressive anti-smoking campaign will be
successful".
