Homeless Families
Compared with the previous year, there was a slight decrease
in the number of families seeking help on account of homelessness
and also of those accepted into residence.
Families continued to receive case-worker support, as a result
of which there was a further fall in the number in residence at
the end of the year, viz. 48, a reduction of 16 (33⅓%) since 1st
January, 1969.
Some 86 families were rehoused during the year by this Council
and 6 by the Greater London Council compared with 96 and Nil
respectively for 1968.
