Miscellaneous—In addition to the courses listed above, the
Department was responsible for training six Public Health Institute students, six student Health Visitors, 18 nurses for District
Nursing training, and a number of pupil midwives. The
Department also accepted a number of students from various
colleges for practical placements in its various establishments.
