1899	Dried Vegetable Soup	Contained cornflour and potato starch, the presence of which was not disclosed on the label.	Manufacturer agreed to jnclude both these ingredients on the labels in the future.
1955	Chopped Ham and Pork, canned	Contained meat 89%. This article should contain at least 95% of meat.	No legal standard has yet been adopted for this commodity.
2047	Carrot Juice, canned	The product did not consist of carrot juice but of a diluted carrot puree containing: water 3 parts, carrot 1 part, with a little sugar and salt.	Packer informed of Public Analyst's report. Manufacturer not at address stated on label. No further action.
2051	Cheese Flavoured Puffs	Contained butylated hydroxyanisole, 30 parts per million, the presence of which was not disclosed on the label.	Manufacturer, informed of Public Analyst's report is seeking the opinof the Food Manufacturers' Federation.
(b) In respect of samples taken under Imported Food Regulations.
TT.2	Sprats, canned	Contained benzoic acid, 1,050 parts per million, an added preservative not permitted in this article.	Arrangements were made for the return of the stock already distributed which together with the remainder of the consignment subject to Detention Notice, was subsequently exported to Holland.
TT. 2	Decorticated Groundnuts	Contained aflatoxin, the Toxicity Category as defined by the Tropical Products Institute being medium.	Consignment detained. "Followup" formal sample taken, see TT.15.
