In accord-ance with the Code of Prac-tice agreed between the Ministry of Food and manu-facturers, Cream Soups should contain not less than 3.5% of edible oil and fat.Satisfactory explanation from Manufacturers. Soup of this low edible oil and fat content discon-tinued.
T. 370Cream of Tomato Soup Canned.Contained edible oil and fat 0.9% by weight. In accord-ance with the Code of Prac-tice agreed between the Ministry of Food and manufacturers, Cream Soups should contain not less than 3.5% of edible oil and fat.Imported produce brought into the Country before Code of Practice had been agreed.
T. 391Cream of Tomato Soup, Canned.Contained edible oil and fat 2.9%. Not in accord with Code of Practice.Warning letter to manufacturer. Explanation received considered satisfactory.
