T. 369Strawberry Jam.Contained soluble solids 67.6%. Food Standards (Preserves) Order, 1953 and Food Stand-ards (General Provisions) Order, 1944 require jams to contain not less than 68.5% soluble solids.Warning letter to manufacturer. Explanation received.
T. 373Lemon SquashHad unpleasant, mouldy taste. The bottle contained a growth of fungus under the cap and a further quantity dispersed throughout contents.Manufacturer acquainted with position. In-correct seal had been used. To be replaced immediately.
