Sessions are held at the Charlton Lane Welfare Centre, S.E.7 every
Wednesday from 2 p.m.
Vaccination.
Three Public Vaccinators visit cases in their respective areas.
For the convenience of those who prefer it, Dr. E. A. Clegg holds
sessions from 2 p.m. on Fridays at 121, Trafalgar Road, East
Greenwich, S.E.10.
Diabetes-Insulin Treatment.—During the year 13 cases were
provided with Insulin under the special arrangements for assisting
necessitous patients suffering from Diabetes at a cost of £63 19s. 6d.
Foot Clinics.—Sessions were held regularly at the Borough
Centres throughout the year.
The staff consists of 2 whole-time and 5 sessional chiropodists.
A clerk-receptionist is in attendance at each Centre. The advance
booking system continues to be in operation, thus avoiding tedious
waiting. The charge is at the rate of 1 /- per treatment.
