Foot Clinics.—Sessions were held regularly at each of the six
Borough Centres throughout the year.
The staff consists of 2 whole-time and 4 sessional chiropodists.
A clerk-receptionist is also in attendance at each Centre. An
advance booking system is in operation, thus avoiding tedious
waiting. The charge is at the rate of 1/- per treatment.
The Clinics continue to work at high pressure, the numbers attending during the year under review being as follow:—

Artificial Sunlight Treatment.—Ultra-violet ray treatment
was available throughout the year at Chevening Road, Shooter's
Hill Road, Creek Road and Charlton Lane Centres.
Arrangements were again made for children attending Day
Nurseries to receive treatment upon the recommendation of the
clinic Doctor.

The following table shows the type of abnormality among
children up to 5 years of age treated during the year. In the majority
of cases marked improvement was noted.
