Toddlers' Clinic.—During the year a Toddlers' Clinic was
established at the Borough Hall Centre and another at Shooter's
Hill Road Centre. They are proving very successful and have
relieved pressure at the ordinary Infant Welfare Sessions. At first
some difficulty was experienced in inducing mothers with several
children to attend the Toddlers' Session as it was contemplated she
would have to visit the Centre on two occasions, viz., one for the
infant child and the other for the toddlers. This has been overcome
by allowing such mothers to bring the baby and toddler, so
avoiding the extra attendance. The few babies so attending do not
inconvenience the general routine of toddlers' examinations. It is
hoped to give a full description of the work and result in the next
Report.
