food poisoning:
There were 28 individual cases notified during the year of
which
10 were due to Salmonella Typhi-Murium
1 was due to Salmonella Enteriditis
In 17 cases it was not possible to identify the responsible
agent.
legal proceedings:
During 1961 legal proceedings were taken in 5 cases in respect
of offences under the Pood & Drugs Act. These are summarised
