QUALITY OP FOOD AND ITS DESCRIPTION:
Routine sampling of foods and of drugs has continued, but the
instances of adulteration or of misleading description have been very
few. For this reason formal sampling has only been practised when an
informal sample has proved unsatisfactory, or for some other special
reason. In 1960 630 samples (including 3 formal samples) were submitted
to the Public Analyst as follows:-
