Milk
Regular sampling of milk for chemical analysis and bacteriological
examination is carried out from shops, depots roundsmen,
schools and day nurseries. In addition, routine inspections of
dairies and milk shops are made, the number of visits during 1956
being 132.

manufactured has been considerably reduced. Although 22 premises are
still registered for the purpose, the number where any manufacturing
