From time to time it has become necessary to take action in re spect of a few individual rooms in houses still regarded technically as fit for habitation where these have for one reason or another deterio-rated in condition beyond reasonable possibility of being rendered fit.

In addition to the closing orders detailed in the above table
certain other orders have been made under Section 12 of the Housing
Act, 1936, in respect of whole flats which have been for the purpose
considered as part of the building in which they were incorporated
These are included in the paragraph entitled Unfit Houses but are
clearly distinguished.
