In addition, 7 cwt. 22 lbs. of various tinned foodstuffs was
seized at a food shop in the Borough, condemned and destroyed.
Condemned food is collected by Council and destroyed or,
where suitable, used for animal food.

is Deputy Public Analyst.
Out of a total of 258 informal samples examined by the Public
Analyst during 1956, 6 samples were found to be adulterated.
