Closing Orders (Housing Act, 1936)
Two Closing Orders in respect of underground rooms were made
by the Council as a result of official representations during the
year.
Closing Orders (Public Health (London) Act, 1936)
During the year as a result of Police Court proceedings
instituted by the Department, 7 Closing Orders were made by the
Magistrate prohibiting the use of the dwelling houses for human
habitation.
