and this in spite of the fact that the average attendance per
session is rather less than last year.
Our total number of treatments is less than it has been
but the long sunny summer of 1934 lessened the occurrence
of many conditions for which this clinic is useful. Reattendances
on the whole have been good and of the 42 lapsed
cases over half were due to illness in the family preventing
further attendance.
It is of interest that relief seems to be obtained within a
few days of beginning treatment and that complete relief
occurs in many cases within a month. It is satisfactory to
record that many mothers ask for a second course of inhalation
for their children as they need it, having already experienced
its efficiency.
