SPECIAL CLINIC FOR DELICATE CHILDREN.
Since 1925, a Special Consultation Clinic for
Delicate Children has been in operation at the Centre,
conducted by Dr. Helen M. M. Mackay, M.D.,
F.R.C.P. Medical Officers at the Infant Consultations
observing children whose conditions require special
investigation, or on whom they desire a second opinion,
refer such children to the Special Clinic.
Dr. Mackay reports on the work of the year as
follows :—
There is little to report about this clinic during the past
year. The number of children referred to the clinic has been
small, the types of cases similar to past years. A number of
children and their mothers have been recommended for dinner
at the Invalid Kitchen, which now supplies meals in a building
within a few minutes' walk of the Welfare Centre, and I regard
the help there obtained as most valuable.
