TUBERCULOSIS.
During the 52 weeks ended 2nd January, 1932, there were 255
cases of Tuberculosis (all forms) notified in Battersea as compared
with 286 in 1930, 330 in 1929, 301 in 1928, and 308 in 1927.
In addition 40 cases were reported, or otherwise came to the
knowledge of the Medical Officer of Health during the year, making
295 cases in all.

The following table (required by the Ministry of Health) shows the age and sex distribution of the 297 cases of Tuberculosis notified or otherwise reported during the year ended 2nd January, 1932 (53 weeks) and the 173 deaths registered as due to the disease.

Deaths from non-pulmonary forms of tuberculosis formed
17.3 per cent. of the total deaths from the disease.
