B.C.G. VACCINATION FOR THIRTEEN-YEAR OLD CHILDREN
A medical officer, together with two clerical assistants, visited 10 (9) schools.
There were 1,259 (1,807) children eligible for B.C.G. vaccination. The parents of
955 (1,344) children gave their consent and out of this number 691 (899) were skin-tested
and read. Of these, 663 (853) children were vaccinated. A total of 24 (46) were found to be
positive reactors, and 4 children who were found to be negative were not vaccinated because
they had already received other vaccinations less than one month previously.
