Little Sisters of the Assumption
A grant of £100 was made to the Little Sisters of the Assumption in respect of the
domiciliary nursing service provided by the Order.
Co-operation with hospitals
After April 1st, 1974, this will no longer be listed as a separate item, but until then,
as the date draws nearer, it is increasingly necessary to create and improve closer working
with the hospital service.
It is gratifying to report that teaching and practical training for student nurses again
increased.
Programmes of training for student nurses from both St. Charles and St. Stephen's
Schools of Nursing were developed.
These programmes are as recommended in the 1969 General Nursing Council
