Table C. Other Local Authority Homes. Section 21(1)(4) National Assistance Act. 1948. If suitable accommodation is not available from the borough's resources, or a resident seeks accommodation in a particular home or district belonging to another local authority, co-operation between the borough and other local authorities secures residential care for the applicant.
