HOUSES LET IN FURNISHED ROOMS.
Houses let in furnished rooms constitute the most unsatisfactory and undesirable form of
housing accommodation. In 1912, there were 187 of these houses in the borough, but year by
year the number has so diminished that at the end of 1929, there remained only 29. These 29
are situated in the following parts of the borough:—
