From the table showing the principal causes
of death it will be seen that one out of every
eight deaths in the borough in 1933 was due to
Cancer.
Infantile Mortality.
Of 1,926 deaths of persons of all ages belonging
to Fulham during 1933, 126 or 6.5 per cent. occurred
in infants under One Year of age.
The Infantile Mortality rate (the number of
deaths of infants under One Year of age per 1,000
live births) was 65 as compared with 58 during
1932. The actual number of deaths was 126
compared with 124,
