The Table includes :—
(a.) Summary of cases dealt with at the Chelsea Tuberculosis
Dispensary, Brompton Hospital, and
(b.) Special Cases which were accepted for institutional treatment
by the London County Council, but which were not
dealt with by the Chelsea Tuberculosis Dispensary.
Prior to 1929 this Table comprised cases dealt with at the Chelsea
Tuberculosis Dispensary only.
In addition, a further Table, No. 53 (page 84), has been compiled
showing in summary form the condition of all patients whose case records
are in possession of the Tuberculosis Dispensary at the end of 1931,
arranged according to the years in which the patients first came under
Public Medical Treatment of pulmonary and non-pulmonary tuberculosis.
The special cases which were accepted for institutional treatment
by the London County Council, but which were not dealt with by
the Chelsea Tuberculosis Dispensary, are also included in this table.
