As showing the increasing longevity of people of both
sexes, in London, and the greater expectation of life in the
female sex as compared with the male sex, the subjoined
statement of the death-rate in London, in three decennial
periods, as reported by the Medical Officer of Health to the
County Council, will repay perusal.
