In addition to the above, 1,318 persons were seen by the Health
Visitors at the office, chiefly in connection with milk applications.
The total number of visits paid by the Health Visitors under
table "A" shows an increase of 1705 over the 1924 figures and
this increase is seen particularly in the case of first visits to infants
under one year. This means that with the additional Health
Visitor who commenced her duties on 2nd March, 1925, it is now
possible to make visits in connection with births with much less
delay than was formerly the case.
