Report on the health of the Metropolitan Borough of Battersea for the year 1927

The homes of all these patients were systematically visited
during the year by the District Sanitary Inspectors, and 534 visits,
including 76 first visits to new cases were paid. Six of the new
cases notified were found to have died on the first visit. Of the
new cases 44 received institutional treatment and 30 were transferred
to the Dispensary.
Public Health (Prevention of Tuberculosis) Regulations, 1925.
It was not found necessary to take any action during the
year under report in regard to the provisions of these Regulations.
