The deaths registered in Deptford numbered 745 equalling a deathrate
of 6.5, as compared with 798 and a death-rate of 6.9 for the
preceding year. Of this number, 115 were non-parishioners. The
deaths of Deptford residents occurring outside the Borough in public
institutions were 682, making a total of 1,312 deaths belonging to this
Borough. Of these 693 were males and 619 were females. The death
rate was 11.5, compared with 11.3 in 1926.
