Nutrition.
A diet sufficient in quantity, quality and variety is essential
for physical development and the maintenance of health. The
dissemination of knowledge of this subject forms part of the
activities of the Public Health Service, and in recent years a good
deal of attention has been given to this question in Camberwell.
Dietary suggestions for the expectant mother, and the child
are included in the Maternity and Child Welfare booklet which is
distributed from the Public Health Department.
