IMMUNISATION AGAINST DIPHTHERIA.
A continuous campaign was conducted throughout the year by means
of poster displays, sending birthday cards to children on reaching
their first birthday and by personal contact with parents of children
in the susceptible age groups by Health Visitors and Sanitary Inspectors,
urging acceptance of the facilities provided by the Council for
protective treatment against diphtheria. The result of these aetivities
is shown in the following table.
