DEATHS.
The total number of deaths belonging to the borough registered
during 1952 was 728, consisting of 401 males and 327 females. The
number for 1951 was 743. The death-rate for 1952 was 12.2 per
thousand persons living, compared with 12.3 for 1951.
MARRIAGES.
The total number of marriages in the borough in 1952 was 516,
being 66 below the number for 1951, and 75 below the average for
the last 10 years.
The figures have been supplied by the Superintendent Registrar.
