Report on the sanitary condition of the Borough of Bermondsey for the year 1932

and the number of rooms where the whole of the accommodation of
families is underground is 5. During the year 8 underground
rooms used for sleeping purposes have been closed.
One Closing Order was made under the Housing Act, 1925.
The house has now been demolished and the inhabitants rehoused
elsewhere.
Seven Demolition Orders have been made under Section 19
of the Housing Act, 1930. One of these houses has been
demolished, and eight houses, including two on which Orders
were made in 1931, are now closed for demolition.
No notices have been served under Section 17 of the Housing
Act, 1930.
Hereunder will be found particulars of Inspections, Proceedings,
etc., for the year 1932:—
