VIII. SANITARY ADMINISTRATION.
HOUSING.
Work has proceeded actively in connection with the areas
which were set out in my last annual report, and I anticipate
that, before the end of 1933, these areas will have been entirely
cleared, and the population rehoused in modern dwellings.
Three new areas have been declared by the Council during
the year. With regard to the Leroy Street Area, it is necessary
to point out that part of the area has been excluded, and the
remainder has now been divided into two smaller areas.
