There were no known cases of Leprosy in the Borough during
the year.

Phthisis was the cause of 152 deaths during 1914, compared with
148 for 1913.
The death-rate was 1.39 per 1,000 persons, compared with 1.33,
1•35 and 1•31 for the three preceding years.
