Sir and Gentlemen,
I have the honour to lay before you my forty-second
annual report on the vital statistics and sanitary condition
of the Borough of Bethnal Green relating to the year
1916.
POPULATION

The instructions contained in the subjoined letter
from Somerset House have been complied with in computing
the statistics throughout this report.
