Tuberculosis Dispensary.
Since February, 1915, the Council has made arrangements with the University
College Hospital, conjointly with the Borough of St. Pancras for dealing with
cases of tuberculosis, including contacts, both insured and uninsured.
These are examined by the Tuberculosis Officer on Tuesday and Friday
afternoons and Thursday evenings and the reports sent me and arrangements
made for their removal to hospitals or sanatoria when required. They are visited
at their homes by the Tuberculosis Nurse. who reports to and consults with me
weekly, and at other times in emergency.
The following is the Report of the Tuberculosis Officer, Harry Evans, M.D.,
D.P.H., for the year 1922.
