Report of the Medical Officer of Health.
The total number of addresses received from other Councils
was 541, and 199 addresses were forwarded to other Councils.
The number of addresses received has decreased by seven, and the
number sent decreased by 33. 57 names and addresses were
forwarded to this Borough in error, and are not included in the
above Table.
The number of notices sent to employers during the year was
11, and these had a most satisfactory result.
During the year 36 cases of infective diseases, five of Scarlet
Fever, three of Diphtheria, 19 of Measles, six of German Measles,
one of Chicken-pox and two of Erysipelas, were notified as having
occurred in the homes of outworkers. In none of these cases
was it necessary to make any order under Section 110 of the Factory
and Workshop Act.
