During the year Mr. C. W. Nettleton, who has been a Sanitary
Inspector for this Council and its predecessors for some 29 years,
retired on his pension with the very best wishes of every member
of the staff. I regret, however, to report that Mr. C. T. Wilson,
recently retired Sanitary Inspector, has passed away.
It is my privilege again to express my appreciation of the
kindness and consideration which has always been shown to me
by the members of the Public Health and Maternity and Child
Welfare Committees, and the whole of the members of the Council.
The whole of the staff have carried out their duties in a particularly
enthusiastic and satisfactory manner.
I am, Ladies and Gentlemen,
Your obedient Servant,
E. G. Annis.
